Why I'm an Arborist?

When I was about 8 years old, my father became sick. I watched him slowly get worse for a decade. As an 18-year-old teenager who had just graduated from high school, my father passed away.

Some of my most meaningful memories with him were spent outdoors, surrounded by nature and trees. After he was gone, trees became more than part of the landscape; they became a living connection to the person I missed the most.

Over the years, that connection grew into a calling. I dedicated my time and career to understanding trees, protecting them, and helping them thrive. Every tree I preserve, every problem I diagnose, and every recommendation I make is driven by something deeper than a "job". It is rooted in gratitude, remembrance, and stewardship.

Trees remind me that life is both fragile and enduring. They stand through generations, witness family stories, and become landmarks in people's lives. I know what it means to lose someone important, and I understand that trees around someone's home often hold memories that matter very much.

My work is about more than managing risk or improving tree health. It is about protecting living legacies. In caring for trees, I honor my father, the lessons he taught me, and the connection we shared in the outdoors. Through every tree I help, I continue a legacy of care, respect, and service.
